At Chauffeur Cars the cornerstone of our service is punctuality and reliability. We will do our best to ensure every single reservation request is honoured with the prompt, on-time service we are renowned for.
Transfers
Reservations
At Chauffeur Cars we are available to accept reservations between 7am and 10pm, 7 days a week. We monitor our booking enquiries regularly and when we take your reservation you can rely that we will get you to our destination in a safe and timely manner. Should there be rare circumstances which potentially affect this, we will keep you informed via your provided phone number.
Airport Transfers
We guarantee to check with the airline for updated arrival information, but cannot be responsible for the accuracy of the information provided.
If your flight arrives earlier than scheduled, please call us to advise of your early arrival.
Wait Time
If we have to wait longer than 10 minutes from the reserved pick-up time we will start to charge for wait time.
Please note we don’t apply this charge to delayed flights, however we do ask that you attempt to notify us when you are informed of a delay. This will help avoid further delays and ensure we can be there to greet you on your arrival.
No Shows
If a passenger fails to meet the car or driver at the designated location and pickup time the full trip will be charged. If you can not locate our car or driver, please call Chauffeur Cars to get assistance to avoid a No Show fee.
Cancellation Policy
Airport Transfers:
Any trip cancelled 24 hours or less prior to the scheduled pickup time will be charged the full amount of the trip.
Corporate Transfers and Private Tours:
Any cancellations within 7 days are payable in full.
Other Surcharges
We will happily supply a baby or booster seat for your children. Additional fees will apply.
Tours
Safety
Chauffeur Cars and Luxury Tours operates tours in working distilleries, breweries, wineries, cideries, and other associated venues. Due to occupational health and safety requirements, we strongly recommend wearing closed shoes on all our tours. At some locations, you may be required to wear high-visibility vests where machinery is operational. Inappropriate footwear and clothing may result in you not being allowed on the processing floor.
By booking with Chauffeur Cars and Luxury Tours, you acknowledge that participation in all our tours involves inherent risks that may not be present in other tours. These risks include, without limitation, the possibility of injury or death, psychological challenges, and other potential hazards.
Authority Of The Tour Guide
At all times, the decision of the Chauffeur Cars and Luxury Tours tour guide or representative will be final on all matters likely to affect the safety and well-being of the tour. This includes any decision made by the tour leader regarding the continued participation of a guest on the tour or specific activities that are part of the tour.
This policy also applies to individuals who, in the opinion of the tour leader, are under the influence of alcohol or other substances, whether prescribed by a medical practitioner or otherwise. If a guest fails to comply with a decision made by the tour guide or disrupts the well-being of the group, the tour guide reserves the right to terminate the contract and request the guest to immediately leave the tour, without any entitlement to a refund.
In such cases, if deemed necessary by the tour guide or representative, the matter may be reported to the appropriate authorities, such as the Tasmanian Police. Please note that Chauffeur Cars and Luxury Tours will not be responsible for any costs incurred once a guest is removed from the tour.
Behaviour Policy
You are responsible for your own behavior during the tour. Uncontrollable and disruptive drunken behavior will not be tolerated.
Any person who is deemed unruly or disruptive may be removed from the tour, and they will not be entitled to any refund.
Any legal action, including fines, taken against a person on the tour or against Chauffeur Cars and Luxury Tours due to the actions of a guest, will be the sole responsibility of that individual or individuals.
Chauffeur Cars and Luxury Tours strongly advises against driving after one of our tours. We cannot accept responsibility for your ability to get home once our tours have concluded.
Guests are responsible for any damage they cause during the tour to the property of Chauffeur Cars and Luxury Tours or any businesses we visit.
A minimum fee of $200 will apply to any damage or spillage that occurs on our bus. We reserve the right to charge your credit card without prior authorization to cover the costs of any damage incurred by you or by guests you have booked.
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside our tour vehicles or inside venues, unless there is a designated smoking area.
We are not responsible for the conduct of third-party operators, venues, or suppliers.
Privacy Policy
Personal information shared with Chauffeur Cars and Luxury Tours is strictly used for the organization and management of the tour and to contact you via email regarding updates on special events or offers. We do not retain, store, or share any information with any other party or for any other purpose. If you would like to receive updates on special events or offers from Chauffeur Cars and Luxury Tours, please let us know, and we will add you to our mailing list.
Responsible Service of Alcohol
Chauffeur Cars and Luxury Tours does not endorse excessive or binge drinking. We promote responsible consumption of alcohol at all times. Our tours are designed and paced to ensure that guests can enjoy sampling various products without the risk of excessive consumption.
It is important for guests to comply with state and federal laws regarding lawful drinking practices, including Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) laws, regulations regarding the consumption of alcohol in public places, in vehicles, and the consumption of ‘bring your own’ (BYO) alcohol.
Venue staff may refuse service of alcohol to individuals deemed intoxicated. All guests and tours are subject to RSA laws at each venue or site visited, and the tour leader will communicate and enforce decisions made by venue staff, which may include restrictions on the service of alcohol.
Consuming excessive amounts of alcohol prior to the start of our tours is strictly prohibited. Guests found to be intoxicated before the tour begins will be denied admission and will not be allowed in the tour vehicle. The Tour Guide reserves the sole discretion to refuse admission if they believe any guest poses a risk to the safe conduct of the tour, and no refunds will be provided in such cases.
During Chauffeur Cars and Luxury Tours Premium Tours, we visit licensed premises where alcohol is served. It is your responsibility to carry valid identification such as a passport, driver’s license, proof of age card, or any other suitable form of identification for the duration of the tour.
Any guest who consumes or is suspected of consuming alcohol in non-licensed areas may be removed from the tour, and they will not be entitled to any refund. Non-licensed areas include, but are not limited to, tour buses and vehicles, non-licensed areas of venues, consuming BYO drinks on visiting properties, and public areas such as restrooms, parks, or service stations where the vehicle may stop.
Alcohol purchased during the tour is strictly prohibited from being consumed inside the vehicle and must remain in the vehicle throughout the duration of the tour.
Cancellation Policy
The health and safety of our guests and guides are of utmost importance to Chauffeur Cars and Luxury Tours. If you feel unwell, please inform us, and we will convert your booking to tour credit. This tour credit will be valid for 12 months from the original tour date. We would be delighted to welcome you again when circumstances permit! Additionally, this tour credit is transferable to another person if you wish to use it as a gift.
Refund requests will be considered if cancellation is made and communicated to us via info@chauffeurcarsluxurytours.com.au prior to 7 days before the tour.
If you require a refund within 7 days of your tour, an administration fee of $49 will be applied.
Change Requests
We understand that circumstances can change, and we are here to assist you. If you need to make a change to your booking, you can do so up to 24 hours prior to your departure time by emailing info@chauffeurcarsluxurytours.com.au or contacting us at 0474 568 544. We will make every effort to accommodate your change request. If we are unable to accommodate your change request, we will convert your booking to tour credit, which will be valid for 12 months.
What if Chauffeur Cars and Luxury Tours have to cancel a tour?
In the unlikely event that we have to cancel a tour, you will receive a full refund, and we hope to have the opportunity to host you at another time.
If it is not possible for you to attend your scheduled tour
We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. Please reach out to us, and we will work with you to find a solution, such as a change of date, tour credit, or a refund in extreme circumstances.
What if I have a last-minute change of mind?
Refunds are not available for changes of mind within 7 days of the tour (although our tours are incredibly enjoyable—why would you want to change your mind?). However, we may be able to accommodate a change of date. Please communicate with us via bookings@chauffeurcarsluxurytours.com, and we will do our best to arrange a more suitable tour date for you.
When you fail to show up without prior communication
If a guest fails to show up for their tour without any prior communication, no refund will be issued, and no tour credit will be granted.
